DSE/VDU Operator Safety Level 2 (VTQ)
About the Course
The proper posture and working position for individuals working at desks and with any form of the display are highlighted in the DSE or Display Screen Equipment safety instruction. Medical conditions like neck/back problems, headaches, stiffness, sight issues, and arm wrist, and hand problems are all caused by improper posture and equipment position.
"As an employer, you must protect your employees from the health hazards of working with display screen equipment (DSE), such as computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones," according to the HSE's website.
Serious medical problems may occur if these dangers are not recognized. It will enhance health and working conditions by learning how to prevent injury and work safely.
Completing our Manual Handling course and reading more about these DSE requirements can help you further reduce injury. Backcare is a non-profit organization that aims to significantly reduce the burden of back pain by providing information and advice to everyone and organisations affected by it. ProTrainings Europe is a proud supporter of Backcare.
To demonstrate our commitment to additional levels of compliance and quality assurance, TQUK has endorsed this qualification and most of the other ProTrainings qualifications. There are several regulations in place.
