· Cause- An allergic reaction can be various foods, drugs, or insect bites.

· Symptoms- The symptoms of Anaphylaxis vary depending on the person and the allergen involved. They might include shortness of breath, chest pain, rash, hives or itching.

Treatment of Anaphylaxis - No one treatment works for everyone, but most people require emergency medical help such as · Epinephrine - This medication helps reduce anaphylaxis symptoms.

· Rescue breathing - If someone has Anaphylaxis and becomes unconscious, rescue breathing can help them breathe if they become asphyxiated due to swelling of the airways.

In addition, they'll learn all about the different types of epinephrine autoinjectors (EpiPens), including their uses and side effects.

Healthcare Anaphylaxis Level 2 (VTQ) is for healthcare professionals who require a more advanced course in Anaphylaxis care. The course covers our standard course with the applications of the special considerations that healthcare professionals face. We follow the recommendations by UK Resuscitation Council, covering the use of Epi-Pens, Jext and Emerade, as well as recognition of signs, treatment, concerns and activating the emergency team. Knowing what to do promptly can save a life.

It will also teach you when to call an ambulance and manage the patient when the ambulance is on its way.
